The InterContinental hotel used to be the Old park Royal, level two of this building and its rooms are haunted. Some report feeling as if someone is always watching them, and others say they feel cold spots and eerie feelings in Room 221. The staff reports that one particularly hot day, a guest committed suicide, and they also talk of a few worker's being killed while the hotel was being built.
